Thank You Mom
Dear Mom,
I am thankful for you because you make my life so much more better. You always cheer me on and encourage me to do my best. I appreciate everything you have done to make me the person that I have become. Thank you for making my 17 years of life the best they could have been. You have truly shown and taught me many new things that have shaped the young adult I am becoming. Thank you for all of the memoires, all of the laughs and smiles, as well as all of the tears we have had together. You have had a huge impact in my life. You have made my life bright and enjoyable. I also thank you for all of the delicious food you have made. Thank you for being the best mom in the entire world. I will always be thankful for you. I love you Mom.
Sincerely, Briana
Throughout this year in photography, I have learned many new things. I am thankful for Mr. Phun for teaching all of us new things about the camera, composition, as well as editing. Here are some of my favorite pictures I have shot this year.

This picture is one of my favorite. I used a technique of 'view point.' For this picture I used a 'down looking up' view point. I had to get close to the tree trunk to be able to get this image. After, I went in and edited this picture. I realized I didn't like the darkness of the picture so i made the xposure higher.
I really like this picture because of the colors. I specifically like how one side of the tree is a little darker and the other side has a little more light. I also like how the picture shows the details of the tree trunk.
I shot this picture at ISO 200, shutter speed 1/1000, and an aperture of f/4.5

This picture is also one of my favorite that I have taken this year. I took this picture with a high shutter speed. The high shutter speed helped me freeze the water coming out of the water balloon after it was popped. I then went in to edit this picture by making the background as well as the hands blurry. This helped me make the water the main attention in this picture.
I shot this picture at ISO 1600, shutter speed 1/1000, and an aperture of f/ 5.6
These are some pictures I recently shot. I decided to take close up pictures of different flowers I saw round the campus. To take these pictures I had to zoom the lense a lot and get close to the flowers. I thought they turned out very good. I then went in to edit the pictures to try to make the colors of the flowers pop out a little more. Overall, I have had an amazing time learning new techniques about photography.
